Limited Warranty

FIRESTONE AUTO BODY (Herein called FAB) provides to the hereinafter-named customer, the following Limited Warranty on collision repairs and painting work performed by its body and paint shop:

1. METALWORK

FAB provides a Limited Warranty on all metalwork done by FAB in making collision repairs. This Warranty is granted only to the person to whom this Warranty is issued and is not assignable; it shall continue during the entire period that individual owns the repaired vehicle. It shall extend to cracking, flaking, and pitting. The Warranty excludes rust repair and any damage resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle.

2. PAINTING

FAB provides a five (5) year Limited Warranty to the person to whom this Warranty is issued on painting, stripes and decals as follows:

a. On all painting work against solvent blistering, peeling, hazing and excessive loss of pigmentation.

b. On the application and adhesion of decorative stripes and decals, excluding those defects which are caused by extreme environmental conditions to which the vehicle may be exposed.

c. As to paints used by FAB, this Warranty shall be deemed limited to the Warranty offered by the particular manufacturer. FAB will re-prime, re-paint, re-stripe or re-decal the specific section to which this Warranty is applicable. This Warranty excludes rust damage, and any damage resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle.

3. MECHANICAL REPAIRS

FAB provides a One (1) Year Limited Warranty to the person to whom it is issued on all mechanical repairs pertaining directly to the original collision damage. This Warranty shall not extend to any malfunction or damage caused by unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle.

4. SUBLET REPAIRS

On all sublet repair work, this Limited Warranty shall extend only for the period of one year from the day such work was performed.

5. PARTS

This Limited Warranty shall extend only to the Warranty offered by the particular parts manufacturer.
